Arthur J. Sutter

SUTTER, Arthur J., age 66, of Charles City County, Va., died at home on September 15, 2009. Arthur retired from Ft. Eustis after 17 years of service as a systems analyst. He was a historical interpreter at Shirley Plantation in Charles City, Va. and had also been a volunteer for numerous other organizations over the years. He was preceded in death by his father, Charles Earl Sutter; his mother, Helen O'Hara Sutter; and his sister, Mary L. Sutter. He is survived by his wife, Judith Ann Sutter; and a brother, Charles Earl Sutter Jr. The family will receive friends and family on Friday, September 18, 2009 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. at Nelsen Funeral Home, 3785 Strawberry Plains Rd., Williamsburg, Va. A private graveside service will be held on Friday, September 18, at Merchants Hope Memorial Garden, Hopewell, Va. A memorial service will be held at a later date.
