Barbara,
I am so sorry to hear of your mothers passing. You are in my thoughts and prayers and you know how to reach me if you need me. I find comfort in the words in Alan Jackson song,
She flew up to heaven on the wings of Angels,
beyond the clouds and stars where no one sees,
She walks with Jesus and her loved ones waiting,
I know she's smiling saying don't worry about me.

Grandma Harris,
I will always remember sick days from school on your couch eating soup and watching the soaps with you. Those were the days.
Now your life's journey has come
to an end and a new one has began.
I will not say goodbye because I
will one day see you again.
LOVE ALWAYS,
Candy Jo Harris

You could always count on Aunt Lillian to remember your birthday and give you a call when everyone else forgot. One year she didn't call me and it didn't matter that work had a party for me and my siblings had a party for me, I was depressed because Aunt Lillian didn't call me. A birthday is not a birthday without a call from Aunt Lillian. I'm being totally self centered on this one because I didn't call her on her birthday. Now I know with her children, 31 grandchildren, 60 great grandchildren, and 11 great-great grandchildren why a niece would fall off the birthday call list a time or two.
My prayers go out to all of you but I am greatful that she is no longer in pain, she is with god, and with family that she hasn't seen in a long time.
I love you Aunt Lillian.

My thoughts and prayers are with the entire Harris family. I have known and loved Granny since I was 18 years old and will dearly miss her. She lived with us for 7 years and we never had an argument. She was truly one of a kind.
Much love & sympathy, Marcia Harris Sluder

My Grandmother's legacy is her kindness and generosity. She never turned away a person in need. She gave up her couch or even her bed to those who needed a place to sleep.
She did not judge people, she just accepted us as we are and kept her heart and her door always open.
Thank you, Gram, for what you gave to my life for 44 years. Life won't be the same without you.

I can't believe you're gone. ): I am so thankful that I got to spend so much time with you recently.. & I hope you know how much I love you and how much I will miss you. I'm glad you are in a better place and no longer suffering, because it hurt me a lot inside to see you in pain & knowing there was nothing I could do for you. I love you so much! Rest in peace, Great Grandma.. <3
