Willard Dwight HARRINGTON

HARRINGTON, Willard Dwight, 81, of Richmond, passed away September 17, 2009, after a lengthy battle with Alzheimer's. Mr. Harrington served in the U.S. Navy aboard the USS Piedmont. He retired from ER Carpenter Co., and also worked as a coach at Bowl America, Midlothian, where he was known to everyone as "Uncle Will." He is survived by his son, David Harrington and his wife, Patty; two brothers, Ray Harrington of Bassett, Va., and Billy Harrington of Bass, N.C.; two grandchildren, Kenzi and Kyle Harrington. The family will receive friends 3 to 5 p.m. Sunday, at Bliley's-Staples Mill, 8510 Staples Mill Rd. A graveside service will be held 11 a.m. Monday, at Mount Vernon Memorial Park, on Nuckols Road in Glen Allen.
