Mary Virginia Cline BEALL

BEALL, Mary Virginia Cline, died suddenly September 17, 2009. She was the widow of Dr. John Danforth Beall. A native of Norfolk, she was the daughter of Dr. and Mrs. Carl P. Cline. Mrs. Beall graduated from the College of William & Mary and was a member of Kappa Alpha sorority. Following college, she taught first grade in the Norfolk Public School System. She spent the last 55 years in Richmond. Mrs. Beall was a member of the Woman's Auxiliary to the Richmond Dental Society, a former member of The Woman's Club, and a member of the Tuckahoe Woman's Club and the Country Club of Virginia. She was a member of Reveille United Methodist Church. A gourmet cook, she loved cooking and entertaining. Mrs. Beall will be greatly missed by her family and all who knew her. She is survived by her son, John Cline Beall and his wife, Maureen; her sisters, Mrs. C. Rodes Boyd of Richmond and Mrs. Barbara Cline Taylor of Dallas, Texas. She is also survived by six nieces and nephews. A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, September 22, in Westhampton Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Reveille United Methodist Church.
