Mr. Payne and family: It has been a privilege to work and know Pat over the years. She has been a special friend and has been a true inspiration to me and all those who knew her. I will sadly miss my conversations and "pep talks" with her. May your special memories comfort you now and in the days ahead.

To Pat's family,

I had the pleasure of working with Pat when I was student at Longwood. Her smile could brighten any day. She inspired and uplifted others when she herself was down. She is a hero. I will always treasure her friendship.
