Emma WINSTON Obituary

WINSTON, Mrs. Emma L., of Henrico County, Va., departed this life September 22, 2009. She was preceded in death by her husband, John E. Winston. She is survived by two sons, Terence Morris and Anthony Winston (Robyn); one daughter, Verna White (Robert); five grandchildren, Latoya, Catherine, Rolecya, Martika and Nicole; a host of nieces and nephews, among them two devoted nieces, Beverly Williams, Valerie McLauren; and one devoted nephew, James "Billy" Williams; a host of other relatives and friends. Remains rest at Walter J. Manning Funeral Home, 700 N. 25th St., where the family will receive friends Friday (today), 7 to 8 p.m. Remains will lie in state Saturday, 10 a.m., at Mount Olive Baptist Church, 8775 Mount Olive Ave., Glen Allen, where funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Rev. Darryl G. Thompson officiating. Burial Roselawn Memory Gardens.
