I was so shocked and surprised to hear of Jeff's passing. We use to sing together in the Gospel Choir at Asbury United Methodist Church. When I moved away to NJ, I always asked about Jeff. My prayers are with you in this time of bereavement. Just know that he is reasting in the arms of the Almighty. Sandra (Qualls) Brown & Family

Mr. Jefferies taught my three other siblins as well as myself and everyone on Route 33 in Hanover County, over 30 years ago. He touched so many people in his walk of life. I just recently saw Mrs. Neal ( a former teacher of Elmont) and immediately asked about Mr.Jefferies. So I am very sad to hear of his passing. Even though I have not seen him for many years, I have never forgotten him. May you rest in the arms of the Lord.

I am so sorry to hear about the passing of Mr. Jefferies. He was my teacher in 6th grade at Elmont Elementary School. He was an awesome, fun and respected teacher. My life is better by knowing him. My prayers are with his family.

My friend of many years, we lost touch, but may we meet again around the throne. May God comfort your family and friends during this time of remembering your impact on our lives. Rest in peace my friend.

Harold Jefferies was what I considered a MASTER TEACHER at Elmont Elementary School. He was respected by fellow staff, students and parents.
May God's blessings be with his family and friends.

I was sorry to hear of the passing, of Mr. Harold Jefferies. I am one of his former students that he taught over 25 years ago in Hanover County Public Schools. He was a wonderful teacher. I am from a very large family ,so he taught alot of my siblings. May you find comfort in God during this time of your loss. Continue to look to God and he will strengthen you.

Mr. Jefferies was my 5th grade teacher in Elmont. He was a great teacher and very funny...ran a strict class, but he made English fun. You will be missed very much...after all these years i have never forgotten you.
