Laura Emma Elder Wray - "Sis" to her friends and family, "Mema" to her grandchildren - was a terrific lady who touched many hearts over the years and lived a long wonderful life.
I will always cherish my memories of her: baking melt-in-your mouth biscuits, risking a solo-drive on the go-cart around the vegetable garden, hugging her grandkids 'til they almost couldn't breath, hollering out the back door for Gilbert to get something or do something.
I will never forget the love Sis and Gilbert gave to everyone. The passing of Mema Wray has left a huge hole in all of our hearts.
