George Bush Obituary

Bush, George L. SCHENECTADY George L. Bush, 85, of Schenectady, died peacefully at home on Tuesday, June 17, 2008 after a brief illness. George was born in Ferriday, Long Island on September 8, 1922 and served his country in the United States Navy during World War II. He was a restaurant owner in Farmingdale, L.I. until moving to this area to be close to his family. Mr. Bush is survived by his son, George L. Bush Jr. of Manorville, L.I.; his daughter, Cheryl (George) Gottwald of Ballston Lake, N.Y; his sister, Mary Pennison of Lake Charles, La.; his grandchildren, Meredith Gottwald of Alexandria, Va., Jennifer Labanca of Kissimmee, Fla., Justin Bush of Manorville; and his great-grandchild, Brady Labanca of Kissimmee. Funeral services are private and at the convenience of the family. Memorial contributions may be made in George's memory to the Community Hospice of Schenectady, 1411 Union Street, Schenectady, NY 12308. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Griswold Funeral Home.
