Judith Eilertsen

Eilertsen, Judith GREENVILLE Judith Eilertsen, of Greenville, 96, died June 16, 2008 at St. Peter's Hospice Inn after a brief illness, only three weeks before her 97th birthday. She was proud to call Norway her birthplace. She was raised in Bay Ridge, Brooklyn, and moved to Greenville in 1970. Judith was pre-deceased by her husband, Erling, in 1981, and her daughter, Linda Stevens, in 1995. She is survived by four grandchildren and their spouses, Judi and Paul Kehoe (Delmar), John and Maureen Monkell (Pensacola, Fla.), Ken and Nobalee Monkell, and Jackie and Chris Park, (Greenville). She was the proud great-grandmother of ten dear children, Anne and Elaine Kehoe, Meredith and Matthew Monkell, Thomas, David, Brad and William Monkell, Jason and Adam Park; beloved sister/sister-in-law of Lillian Johannesen, Skip Johannesen, Morten and Margaret Johannesen and Karl Johannesen. Her gracious hospitality and devotion to family and friends will be deeply missed. Calling hours are Friday, June 20 from 4:00 - 8:00 p.m. at the Cunningham Funeral Home, 4898 SR 81, Greenville, NY 12083. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, June 21 at 11:00 a.m. at the Greenville-Norton Hill United Methodist Church, with interment immediately following.
