Otto Languish Obituary

Languish, Otto J. ALBANY Otto J. Languish, 87, died Thursday, June 19, 2008 at his home after a brief illness. Born and educated in Albany, Mr. Languish was an Army veteran of World War II having served with the 100th Evacuation Hospital. He worked as a construction laborer with J.J. Keenan Construction Company, Inc. for over 30 years, retiring in 1982, and was a 50-year member of Local 190. Mr. Languish was a veteran life member of the Selkirk Fire Department #2. He loved gardening. Husband of Elizabeth (Thomas) Languish and the late Edith (Losee) Languish; father of Edward (Judith) Languish, Robert (Roxanne) Languish, David (Jean) Languish, Ann Pannitti and Judy Buehler; brother of Johanna Languish and William Languish; also survived by 13 grandchildren, 21 great-grand-children and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held 10:00 a.m. Monday in the Daniel Keenan Funeral Home, 490 Delaware Ave., Albany. Relatives and friends are invited and may also call at the funeral home on Sunday 4- 8 p.m. Interment will be in St. Matthew Lutheran Cemetery, Glenmont. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the N.E. Association of the Blind, 301 Washington Ave., Albany, NY 12206 or the Louise Corning Senior Center, 25 Delaware Ave., Albany, NY 12210.

we were just dropping by to say that we miss you and that we are still stunned by the fact thart you are actually gone.
