Madeline Bruno Oliver, of Albany, 94, passed away peacefully June 15, 2008 at Leesburg, Fla. and has joined the love of her life, her late husband Ken, in eternal peace. Madeline was born to the late Joseph (Guiseppi) and Josephine Bruno (Laviano). She was employed her entire life, first at Albany Wallpaper, then Wendell Cadillac, National Commercial Bank & Trust Company and retiring from Key Bank. She was predeceased by her late husband, Kenneth Oliver; her brother, Patrick J. Bruno; and her two sisters Antonia Bruno Long, and Edith D'Ambrosi DeSorbo. She is survived by her sister-in-law, Frances Bruno of Slinger-lands; her nieces, Patricia J. Bruno of Bethlehem, Cindy McKee-han (Chris) of Guilderland, Elena Bruno (Alan M. Jezierski) of Slingerlands; her nephews, Edward A. Long, Leesburg, Richard Riccardo, Saratoga Springs, Lawrence Bruno (MaryAnne), Robert Bruno (Chris), James E. Long, Ronald E. Long of Albany. She is also survived by her dear friend, Marcia Riccardo. After the death of her sister Antonia in 1970, Madeline raised as her own, her nephews, James and Ronald Long. She then abandoned retirement to spend her time with her beloved great-nephew, Dane McKeehan. Not satisfied there, she had a great influence on her great-niece, Darcy Green (Michael), so much so that her great-great-niece, Madeline Rose Green, was named in her honor. In keeping with her wishes a memorial service will be held at a future date. Friends and family will be notified.

To Madeline's Family,
I worked with Madeline many years ago at Wendell Cadillac and I was always impressed by her wonderful sense of style and her sense of humor. She certainly helped to make our Christmas parties at the Golden Fox memorable.
Please accept my sincere condolences on her passing and know that I will keep her in my prayers.
