Marjorie Cadalso Obituary

Cadalso, Marjorie ALBANY Marjorie Erdt Cadalso, 84, died Wednesday, June 25, 2008 at the Community Hospice, St. Peter's Hospital, Albany. She was born in Albany, N.Y., the daughter of the late Frederick and Mary Ellen Mc-Donough Erdt. She was a graduate of the Vincentian Institute in Albany. Marjorie was employed by the NYS Department of Taxation & Finance, Albany for many years. She was a communicant of St. Teresa of Avila Church, Albany and its choir. She was a poll inspector for 62 years for the Albany County Republican Party. Marjorie enjoyed ceramics at the Albany Senior Service Center and was an avid Yankee fan. She had also been a member of Delta Phi Sigma for many years. Marjorie is survived by her husband, John J. Cadalso; two sons, John J. Cadalso Jr. and Keith Alan Cadalso, both of Albany; three grandchildren, Jennifer Raducci, Cheryl Cadalso and Keith Cadalso Jr.; four great-grandchildren, MaKenzie and Peyton Cadalso and Mia and Justin Raducci; a step-grandson, Alan Kuzmak; a step-great-grandson, Alex Kuzmak; also a cousin, Elsie Sowinski. She was also predeceased by brothers, James and Frederick Erdt. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 9:30 a.m. Monday, June 30, 2008 at St. Teresa of Avila Church, New Scotland Avenue, Albany. Relatives and friends are also invited to call at Zwack and Sons, 633 Central Avenue, Sunday 4 to 8 p.m. Interment will be in St. Agnes Cemetery, Menands. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Sisters of Mercy, 27 North Main Ave., Albany, NY 12203 or the Mohawk Hudson Humane Society.
