Mary Coyle Obituary

Coyle, Mary Louise CENTERVILLE, Md. Mary Louise Coyle, loving mother and wife, died July 11, 2008 at Hospice of Queen Anne County, Centerville. She was 76 years old. Mary Louise VanDecar was born in Albany, N.Y. on April 13, 1932 where she grew up. After marrying her husband Jim Coyle, she traveled extensively with him as he served in the U.S. military. They became long time residents of Bowie, Md. and more recently Centerville. Mary Lou is survived by her loving husband of 51 years, James Patrick Coyle, their four children and spouses, Stacie and Charlie Dispenza, Sue and George Vogel, Jamie and Jill Coyle and Shannon and Phil Klenkel; and 11 grandchildren. Mary Lou was a humble, beautiful and committed wife and mother. Family was the most important thing to her and she devoted her life to them. Family and friends may call on Monday, July 14, 2008 from 7 to 9 p.m. at Fellows, Helfenbein & Newnam Funeral Home, 408 South Liberty Street, Centerville, with prayers said at 8 p.m. A funeral Mass will be held at Our Mother of Sorrows Catholic Church in Centerville on Tuesday, July 15 at 9:00 a.m. Interment will follow in Crownsville Veterans Cemetery, Crownsville, Md. at 11:30 a.m. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Chester River Health Foundation, c/o Hospital Center, 100 Brown Street, Chestertown, MD 21620.
