Anthony DiNata Obituary

DiNata, Anthony J. MECHANICVILLE Anthony J. DiNata, 73, former native of Mechanicville, died suddenly at his home in Brooklyn, N.Y. on Thursday, July 3, 2008. Born in Mechanicville, September 1, 1934, he was the son of the late Ambrose and Rose Fusco DiNata, and brother of the late Josephine Cervini, who died in 2004. Mr. DiNata was a graduate of Mechanicville High School, and after getting a job with General Motors, he first lived in Manhattan, and later moved to his residence on 5th Ave. in Brooklyn, where he practiced his Roman Catholic faith. Survivors include his brother, Carmen DiNata of Mechanicville, along with several nieces, nephews and their families. A memorial Mass will be celebrated on Tuesday, July 15 at 11 a.m. at the Assumption-St. Paul Church, William Street, Mechanicville. Burial in St. Paul's Cemetery. There will be no calling hours. Remembrances may be made to the charity of one's choice, in fond memory of Anthony J. DiNata. Arrangements by the DeVito-Salvadore Funeral Home, Mechanicville.
