John Glasser Obituary

Glasser, John Howard ALBANY John Howard Glasser, 47, died Sunday, July 13, 2008 at Albany Medical Center. Born in Wichita Falls, Texas, he was the son of Howard and Regina (Jean) Glasser of Albany. John Howard worked at New Visions (formerly ARC) on Krumkill Rd. and lived with his beloved parents. In addition to his parents, he is survived by his brother, Robert Glasser; sister-in-law, Clorinda (Linda) Glasser; nephews, Michael and Joseph Glasser; also survived by several aunts and uncles. He was predeceased by his sister, Janice Glasser. The family would like to thank New Vision's for the love they had for John Howard. He loved his job at New Vision's. The family would also like to thank the staff of the 4th floor and the ICC unit at Albany Medical Center for the loving care extended to John. Funeral services will be held Thursday at 9:15 a.m. from the Daniel Keenan Funeral Home, Inc., 490 Delaware Ave., Albany thence to St. John - St. Ann Church in the South End where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Relatives and friends are invited and may also call at the funeral home Wednesday from 4-8 p.m. Interment in Our Lady Help of Chrisitian Cemetery, Glenmont. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in John Howard's name to New Vision's, 334 Krumkill Rd., Slingerlands, NY 12159.

I was just reading Betsy's guest book notes and there was a referance to John and Betsy when they attended camp at a Special Place. Hope you both are doing well. We loved John and remember him in our prayers.

I can't tell you how shocked I was to walk into church today and hear that John Howard had passed.

Please accept my heartfelt sympathy for the loss of your dear son John Howard. No parent should lose a child. May you have comfort and peace knowing that he left your hands and gone into the hands of God. I will keep the Glasser Family in my prayers.
