Dear Bompa,
You would have enjoyed the party we had last night in your honor. The room was filled with singing, laughing, storytelling, drinking and lots of little ones running around.

We never took for granted any of the time we spent together as a family and yesterday was no exception. You had a great impact during your 89 years here on earth and taught us well. Your legacy will be carried on through that of your children and most especially your grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

We love you and miss you more than could ever be imagined. I hope that you are enjoying your party too.

Love Your Granddaughter,
Tara

To all the Sweitzer children....We are very sorry for your loss. Your dad did his job well here on earth...he taught his children to enjoy the magic of each and every day with enthusiam. He encouraged you to set your goals in life and not be afraid to go after them but always be humble and kind to those around you and whom ever you cross paths with in life. Mr Sweitzer's job has been completed it shows in all of you! He can now smile and rest!

Marge, Danny, Eileen and Bob
My deepest sympathy on the loss of your dad. No matter how old we are it hurts to lose a parent, especially one that had so much influence on our lives. I remember your father very well, it was one to listen to and obey, maybe it was his stature or his voice. I do remember what a handsome man he was. It's hard to get older, we start losing the people who mean the most to us. You have your memories and they are very important, visit them often.
Love to hear from you Marge

Margie, Don, Eileen and Bob,
It is a time of sadness; but it is merely the end of the chapter and the book remains open. Bob's smile will live on in each of you and in his grandchildren. Every time I met Bob he experssed sincere interest in me and my concerns. Lessons like this and others inspire me to surround myself with people who respect themselves and who respect me.

So many things go through your mind when someone as significant as your grandfather passes away. Especially MY grandfather. Anyone who knew him knows how easy it was to know when he was in the room. I always thought of him as a big man, and in so many ways that was true. From his physical stature to his booming voice, you really couldn't miss him. That doesn't mean he won't be missed. He certainly will be. From his regular Wednesday night visits to my house when I was a teenager, the toys he kept in his office for us grandkids to the old fashioned type writer he let us bang on. I can only try to live a life half as fulfilled as he did. Maybe he can help me along. Bump, any time you want to send me some advice, just give me a holler. I'm sure we'll all hear it.

I love you Bumpa and miss you already.

Your Grandson, Mark Robert Eriole

To the Sweitzer Family, I know you don't need me to tell you how wonderful Bump was. He was a very special person and I will miss him dearly. It was an honor and privilege to know him. God must have needed a very special Yankee fan up there. I will keep you in my thoughts and prayers.
