I am so sorry to have just heard of your father's passing. Your father gave me my first job in the Department of Labor, Adjudication Services when I was 17 and had just graduated from high school. He offered me the job right after my interview. He was a great guy and a wonderful boss and I think of him often. He always talked about his family and how much he loved you all. He will always be remembered in my prayers.

Dear Brian, Nancy and Linda,
I am very sorry to hear about your loss. Your Mom and Dad were the nicest people, it was always a pleasure running into them. What a great family you have! I still think about all of you at times when I drive by Kenlyn Drive in Colonie and wonder how you are all doing.

Dear Brian, Nancy, and Linda: Deepest sympathy to you and your families. I worked with your Dad at DOL and have happy memories of many enjoyable conversations with him. In my last assignment I contacted him a number of times to get his expert input on UI issues. He was always very helpful.

Family was very important to him and he was proud of each of you. You are in our thoughts and prayers.

Sincerely, Bob Elie

To Joe's Family,

I worked with Joe at NYS DOL and knew Joe to be a caring person with a great sense of humor. His expertise and easy manner were always helpful and i could always count on seeing him visit me at the Saratoga office in August. I am so sorry for your loss. You are in my thoughts & prayers.

Brian, Nancy & Linda
We are deeply saddened by the passing of your dad. Looking back at all the great times we shared as two families living next door, I remember the summer days swimming in the pools and having cookouts, the falls playing football in the street and winters throwing snowballs with everyone. Although the years have passed quickly, at least we have wonderful memories that can brighten a moment like this. We're sorry we can't be with you during the services. But, rest assured, your dad will be remembered always.

I worked with Joe at the DOL. Aside from being one of the most knowledgeable persons I ever knew, he was simply a great guy. I remember our many conversations that often ended in a laugh. He cared about people and often told me how much he loved his family. I am very sorry for your loss. Joe will be sorely missed.

To the Danahy family,
Joe and I met when I was in my teens. He,without even realizing it,changed the course of my life. He cared about what I thought and how I felt and what I was going thru. To this day I have never forgotten his advice...and I am now 51 and a grandmother of 2. God Bless you all, I will keep you in my prayers.
