Gladys,
My deep sympathy for you and your family. John and I were good friends at AMC since 1954. John was my son Michael's gumba. I will always remember his friendship and humor. I can see him smiling on us now. May he rest in God's loving arms.

Dear Gladys and family.....my deepest sympathy to all of you. It has been a long struggle, but he is at peace now. My favorite memory of John is on your wedding day - I rode with him from Albany to Stephentown to your Mom's house. He was so nervous but tried to act calm! What a great guy - such a sense of humor, always happy and upbeat! You are all so lucky to have had him with you for so long. Many wonderful memories of him will sustain you in the future. I will keep you in my thoughts and prayers.

I met John nearly twenty years ago at the medical center when I was starting my first job out of college and still had much to learn about life. John’s good humor, wry smile and infectious laugh served as an inspiration to me, then and now. He was always kind, caring and wise. Anyone who knew him will have their favorite “John” story they will never forget. I will continue to smile whenever I think of him. He was one of the good guys.
