Gordon was my first husband and father to Joe our lovely son. Dinger as I knew him was the most gentle and big hearted soul. He was clever and truly open to all that life had to offer. I miss you and hope that you know that you were very loved. Mary xx

Sadly it has taken 5 years for the news of the passing of Gordon ( aka in past times as Dinger ) to reach me here in Ireland. I was fortunate to know him and to enjoy his company and his kind heart around 30 years ago in Taunton, England.
My deepest sympathy to all who grieve. His memory lives on.

It's so sad losing someone you least expect to at a critical time when you needed him the most. Gordon was a perfect husband,father,in-law and friend. As an in-law, he treated me as though I was his own daughter and made sure that I had everything I needed as a young woman....who will do that for me now?We miss him very much and our hearts still melt in tears but we pray God rests his soul in eternal peace and continues to comfort those he left behind with whom he meant dearly. His memories shall glow in us as log as we live.

Gordon was a very good friend to me for many years when he lived in the UK, & I was priveleged to work with him for several years in London, although we have not often been in contact since he moved to Uganda. I am shocked & saddened to hear of his untimely death & my thoughts go out to his children & family - with whom I would like to get in touch if anyone would be kind enough to contact me.

To the widow of late Gordon Bell, In this time of bearevement, when your husband is nolonger with you, loneliness creeps in and the reality that you have to shoulder the responsibity of raisng the young ones alone, makes life rather unbearable and uninteresting. Bearing this fact in mind, i urge you to remain strong because in the book of Job, God tells us to expect the good and the bad from him. Stay strong and remember that he gave in his only son so that we are set free. may Gordon's soul rest in eternal peace.

Dear Gordy and Trudy ~ And your sweet girls ~
I was so sorry to hear the news of your Dad. Meg, Kathleen, Karen and Beth...all called me knowing this was important. I am sorry I could not be there with you all. But will touch base when I am in Town. Your Mom and Dad were so much a part of my growing up too. I loved when Mark included me in a "Bell Holiday visit".. that was special. Love you Gord. (Wooze)..... Susan and Steve and all the Helmers. XXOO

My sincere condolences to the Bell family, and to the Schillings and the Jaycoxes. Gordon was a marvelously interesting and enlightened person to speak with, and a true entrepreneur in his many fields of interest.

Dear Gordy, Trudy and the girls,
I was sad to hear of the passing of your Dad. Gordon was an original along with Ester. I always cherished visits with him to hear stories or talk about the market. He knew so much and shared it all. Times in the country were also priceless. We were blessed to know him so long and so well. Our thoughts and prayers are with you all. Love, Krista and Kurt Schaeffer (and the Schaeffer Family)
