Ruth Kachidurian Obituary

Kachidurian, Ruth LATHAM Ruth Hotchkiss Kachidurian, 86, of Latham, died Wednesday, August 6, 2008 at Memorial Hospital, Albany. She was the beloved wife for 66 years of James Kachidurian. Born and educated in Watervliet, Ruth was daughter of the late Tracy and Elsie P. Gunn Hotchkiss. She was a graduate of Watervliet High School and a lifelong resident of Colonie. Ruth was employed as secretary and payroll clerk by the North Colonie Central School System for many years. She was a member of the Home Bureau and the Garden Club of Latham. In addition to her beloved husband James, she is survived by her devoted daughter, Traci Kachidurian (Ted Smallman) of West Sand Lake and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her sister, Jane Lenda. Family and friends are invited to a celebration of Ruth's life on Saturday, August 9, 2008 at the Bowen Funeral Home, 97 Old Loudon Road, Latham from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Inurn-ment of cremains will follow in Memory's Garden, Colonie. Deepest Sympathy Traci and Jim on Ruth's passing. What a treasure of a lady. I was so happy to see her and you Jim at my mom's memorial service in Latham last year it was so good to see you both after so many years. Well, mom was waiting for her at God's door. Sure they will start a lady's club there now.So many great times in Schroon Lake summers over the years.So sorry I will not be at her service. Will keep everyone in my prayers.
