Pontillo, Elizabeth A. BATAVIA, N.Y. Elizabeth A. "Betty" Pontillo, age 77, of Batavia, entered into rest August 5, 2008. Preceded in death by her husband Salvatore "Sam" Pontillo (2006); son, Daniel Pontillo (1957); daughter, Elizabeth C. Mullen (2003); brother, Beno Kurch; sisters, Mary May and Martha Doane. Survived by her loving children, Paul Pontillo of Batavia, Samuel (Karen) Pontillo of Slingerlands, N.Y., John Pontillo of Batavia; son-in-law, John Mullen; daughter-in-law, Anita Pontillo, both of Batavia; sisters, Margaret Mirasola of Ga. and Joan Hector of Hamburg, N.Y; seven grandsons survive; along with 53 nieces and nephews. Her last wish was to see her grandson, Drew, in a play at Park-Playhouse II. Her wish was fulfilled. Friends may call on Saturday, August 9, 2008 from 4 to 8 p.m. and Sunday, August 10 from 4 to 7 p.m. at Gilmartin Funeral Home & Cremation Company, Inc., 329-333 West Main Street, Batavia. Prayers will be recited at the funeral home on Monday at 10:00 a.m. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 a.m. in St. Anthony's R.C. Church, 122 Liberty St., Batavia, NY 14020.
