Dear Sam, John, Paul and the Pontillo Family,
Our deepest sympathies and condolences on the passing of your mother and grandmother. Hopefully you can rest easier knowing that Betty is together again with Sam watching over one of Western New York's truly great families.
During our travels over the years, Betty and Sam always went out of their way to open their home and their hearts, to make us feel welcome, and a part of the extended Pontillo family, I have an idea that there are countless families and individuals that feel the same way. It was always one of the 'highlights' our trips East to stop in Batavia, to visit Betty and Sam and the Pontillo's.
As Restaurateur's your parents touched and continue to touch many lives, for all the friendship, hospitality and wonderful food that created a lifetime of memories for so many. What a continuing 'legacy' to leave and tradition they have established. All familes should be so fortunate.
Betty and Sam's life work is evidenced in their son's and grandson's various gifts, that will continue to honor their memory and the 'life' they shared with so many.
Please know our thoughts and prayers are with you and the Pontillo Family.
Sincerely and with Warmest Personal Regards,
The Thomas Kay Family
