Mary A. Bondi

Bondi, Mary A. LATHAM Mary A. (Maiello) Bondi, 81, formerly of Troy, passed into eternal rest at her residence in Latham on Thursday, August 7, 2008 surrounded by her loving family. Born in Troy and educated in Green Island, she was the daughter of the late John and Gabrielle (Bocco) Maiello and stepdaughter of Anna Maiello. She was a homemaker, she loved bingo and bowling, and was a communicant of St. Ambroes Church in Latham. She is survived by her beloved husband of 60 years this October, Paul B. Bondi; four children, Paul M. Bondi of Troy, Anthony J. Bondi (Debbe) of Ballston Spa, Robert T. Bondi (Linda) of Averill Park, James J. Bondi (Gwen) of Guilderland; and was predeceased by a son, Paul Bondi; also survived by nine grandchildren, Shana Orton (Eric) of Calif, Devon Bondi (Linsey) of Utah, Dominic Bondi (Alicia) of Troy, Daniel Bondi of Averill Park, Samuel Bondi of Averill Park, Brooke Bondi of Guilderland, Cliff Bondi of Guilderland, David Bondi of Troy, Nicholas Bondi, also of Troy; three great-grandchildren, Brooklyn Bondi of Utah, Jacob Orton of Calif, Caden Orton, also of Calif.; also survived by a sister, Fran Laraway of Latham; a stepsister, Ida Willig of Colo.; and two stepbrothers, Anthony Maiello of Latham, and Albert Maiello of Buskirk. She was predeceased by a sister, Dorothy Ruotolo; two brothers, Louis D. Maiello and Anthony J. Maiello. Funeral from the Bizzarro Funeral Home, 171 Hill St., Troy, N.Y. on Tuesday at 8:30 a.m. and at 9:30 a.m. from St. Joseph's Church in Troy, where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated. Friends may call at the funeral home on Monday from 4 to 8 p.m. Interment will be in St. Mary's Cemetery in Troy.
