Dear Mark,
As you know, a number of us from RPI will be heading to Boston this weekend to participate in the 3-Day Breast Cancer Walk. We will be walking with a renewed sense of purpose and with your family in our thoughts, and will sorrowfully add Sharon's name to the Remembrance Tent.

Even though I have not seen the family in years, I remember the years that we went to your house for picnics. I remember when Kari would babysit us. Mrs. Shepard, as I knew her, was a fantastic woman and will be missed. You are in my thoughts and prayers during this time.

As the days and weeks pass, and as you return to life’s routine, may you continue to feel comforted by the love and support of family and friends.

We are so sorry for your loss; our thoughts and prayers are with all the family at this time....I babysat Steven and Kari; they are wonderful children; your mom was.so sweet and always had a smile and laugh ready....what a shock to see the notice in the paper this morning....you are all in our thoughts and prayers for God's peace and comfort.... Our love and sympathies, John and Dodie Vars, Wynantskill, NY 12198
