Sharon L. Shephard

Shephard, Sharon L. AVERILL PARK Sharon L. Shephard, 57, of Algonquin Beach Road, Averill Park, died Sunday, August 10, 2008. Born and raised in Buffalo, she was the daughter of Irving L. and Audrey S. Nirschel of Buffalo and was a graduate of Maryvale High School and Erie Community College. In 1972 she married her husband, Mark S. Shephard. She was the loving mother of Steven W. Shephard and Kari L. Lantiegne and loving grandmother to Steven W. Shephard, Jr. and Kyle J. Shephard. Sharon is survived by her sisters, Debbie Bartolone, Lori Nirschel and Tracy Nirschel. She was the dear mother-in-law to Andrea L. Shephard and Timothy J. Lantiegne. Professionally, Sharon was a registered nurse and worked in a number of medical facilities in the Potsdam, Ithaca and Troy, N.Y. during her 21 career. More importantly to her, she was a loving mother who devoted all her energy to raising her children and grandchildren, a task that brought her the greatest joy.
