Dominic Pafundi Obituary

Pafundi, Dominic Jr. LARGO, Fla. Dominic M. Pafundi Jr. of Largo, died Sunday, July 27, 2008. Dominic was born and raised in Troy, N.Y., residing for over 40 years in Latham, N,Y. Educated at the New York Institute of Optics, he was the owner of Vision Opticians for over 50 years. He was a life time member of the Troy Italian Community Center, an active supporter of the Boys and Girls Club, Lions, and the Elks. He was preceded in death by his wife Leota Pafundi; and sisters, Francis Margo and Katherine Clemente. Survivors include his loving daughter, Gina Seidel and her husband Frank of St. Petersburg Fla., and loving son, Dominic Pafundi III and his wife Roxanne of Valrico, Fla. Also, five grand- children, David and Sarah Rourke, Krystal, Dominic IV and Victoria Pafundi; and his sister, Elaine Valenti. A graveside memorial service will be held 2:00 p.m. Friday, August 15 at the Gerald B.H. Solomon Saratoga National Cemetery, 200 Duell Road, Schuyler-ville, NY 12871. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to VA H.C.F. Bay Pines GPF1086, Bay Pines VA Hospice Unit, PO Box 5005, Bay Pines, FL 33744.
