David McClintock Obituary

McClintock, David Sr. WEST SAND LAKE David A. McClintock Sr., 70, of West Sand Lake, died suddenly Wednesday August 13, 2008 at St. Peter's Hospital in Albany. Born in Albany, he had been a resident of the Capital Region his entire life, and was a truck driver in the moving and storage business for over 30 years, retiring from Arnoff Moving and Storage in 2002. He was an Army veteran and served during the Korea Conflict. Predeceased by his parents, Edward and Elsie (Van Heusen) McClintock; his wife, Beverly A. (Acker) McClintock; a sister, Shirley Hogan; three brothers, Floyd, Kenny and Sidney McClintock. David is survived by his daughter, Roxann T. King of New Lebanon; two sons, David A. (Kim) McClintock Jr. of Castleton, Brian S. (Patrice) McClintock of Rensselaer; a sister, Katherine Burnett of Albany; and a brother, Nelson McClintock of Voorheesville. Also survived by nine grandchildren, Amanda and Nicholas McClintock, Amy Paul and Jessica Faresta, Thomas, Austin, Amber, and Aaron King. Relatives and friends are invited to attend his funeral 9:00 a.m. Monday from the Rockefeller Funeral Home, 165 Columbia Tpk., Rensselaer, N.Y. Friends may call in the funeral home on Sunday from 4-7 p.m. Interment will be in New Rural Cemetery, East Greenbush. The family has requested that those who wish to remember David, make memorials to American Heart Association, 440 New Karner Road, Albany, NY 12205, in his memory.

I still can't believe that Uncle Dave is gone. I'm just so glad that he was able to attend my wedding in May. It brought him close to all his family. We will all miss him very much!
