She was the greatest single influence on my life and what I have become today with her caring and compassion. We were all so blessed to have had her as a teacher.

A wonderful woman whom I took typing from at MCS. After graduating in 1951 and subsequently joining the US Navy, the typing skills I learned from her gave me an oppotunity in the service to put those skills into use and developing a career in adminstration in the Navy. Very sorry to hear of her passing.

I am so sorry for your loss. I remember Miss Cross vividly from typing class as a very warm and sweet lady and I know there is a very special place in Heaven for her.

Miss Cross was dearly loved and appreciated by everyone. She had a wonderful smile and her eyes sparkled. (The girls graduating in 1957 were the first to use the electric typewriter). Miss Cross was very instrumental in helping me pursue a career in the business world. I am blessed to have known her.

I was so sorry to hear of your loss. The thoughts of many are with you at this time of sorrow. Irene was a beautiful person. She was my business teacher at Middleburgh Central School. Everyone just loved her. Irene's kindness came through to all of her students. She was a treasure that will not be forgotten.

Miss Cross was one of the best and kindest teachers I had at MCS. A very special lady.
May God be with her family.
