Florence L. Weekly

Weekly, Florence L. ALBANY Florence L. Weekly, 83, died Sunday, August 17, 2008 at Our Lady of Mercy Life Center in Guilderland. Florence worked as a bookkeeper for many years for local businesses, most recently, Chapman Stained Glass. She was a devoted mother, beloved sister and friend. She was predeceas-ed by her husband, Claude E. Weekly in 1978. She is survived by her daughter, Sue A. Stark of Altamont; three sisters, Deloris Van Deusen of Guilderland, Audrey Branion of Rensselaer and Midge Stammel of Colonie; one brother, Jim Van Deusen of Schodack; and many nieces and nephews. She was also predeceased by a sister, Joan Nerney and a brother, Leonard Van Deusen. A special thanks to Allie Burke and family, and Ron and Betsy De Persis for all of their devotion and special attention. A memorial service will be held on Thursday at 6 p.m. at the Berean Baptist Church in Guilderland Center. A funeral service will be held on Friday at 10 a.m. at the Fredendall Funeral Home, Altamont. Interment will be in Memory's Garden, Colonie. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in memory of Florence Weekly to Our Lady of Mercy Life Center Activity Programs, 2 Mercycare Lane, Guilderland, NY 12084 or to the Western Turnpike Rescue Squad, 200 Center Dr., Albany, NY 12203.
