Albina DiPietro

DiPietro, Albina (Iannelli) SLINGERLANDS Albina (Lil) Iannelli DiPietro, 87, died Saturday, August 16, 2008 at the Rosewood Gardens Nursing Home surrounded by her family and friends. Born and educated in Albany, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Concetta (Guiliano) Iannelli. Mrs. DiPietro worked as a fur finisher for M. Solomon's prior to her marriage in 1946. She was a homemaker and devoted mother. Mrs. DiPietro was a communicant of the Church of St. Thomas the Apostle in Delmar. Beloved wife of the late Santo DiPietro; mother of Sandra F. Levy and her husband Gerald and Barbara A. Boyle and her husband Kevin, all of Delmar; grandmother of Michele Horan, Lori McBride, Sean Boyle and Elizabeth Boyle; great-grandmother of Ariel McBride and Ryan Horan; sister of Vincenza Caminiti of Delmar and Vito Iannelli of Albany. Also survived by several nieces and nephews. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at the Church of St. Thomas the Apostle, 35 Adams Pl., Delmar on Friday at 9:00 a.m. Relatives and friends are invited and may also call at the Daniel Keenan Funeral Home, 490 Delaware Ave., Albany on Thursday from 4-7 p.m. Entombment will follow the Mass in St. Agnes Cemetery, Menands.
