Cheryl A. Keister

Keister, Cheryl A. BALLSTON SPA Cheryl A. Keister, 55, of Mourningkill Drive, passed away Wednesday, August 20, 2008 at Ellis Hospital. Born in Ballston Spa, August 3, 1953, she was the daughter of Reita Askew and the late Clarence Askew. Cheryl was a homemaker. She was the president of the Brookline Social Club and studied genealogy. Her greatest joy was spending time with her grandchildren. In addition to her father, she was predeceased by her husband David Keister; sister Deborah Holmes and brother Philip Askew. She is survived by her daughters, Joanne Lorenc of Ballston Spa, Amy Keister of Amsterdam and Robin Keister of Scotia; stepchildren, James Keister of Albany and Trish Keister of Ballston Spa; grandchildren, Jaime Keister, Catherine Keister, Aleksandr Lorenc, Rhyan Lorenc, Samantha Lorenc and Aaliyah Aguirre; mother Reita Askew of Ballston Spa; brothers and sisters, Gary Askew of R.I., Douglas Askew, Madeline Waller, Jeffery Askew, Charles Askew, Gail Askew, Dennis Askew, all of Ballston Spa and Joseph Askew of Saratoga Springs; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held 10:30 a.m. Friday, August 22 at Armer Funeral Home, Inc., 39 East High Street, Ballston Spa. Burial will follow in Gerald B H Solomon Saratoga National Cemetery, Duell Road, town of Saratoga. Relatives and friends are invited to call on Thursday from 7-9 p.m. at the funeral home.
