Do not stand at my grave and weep,
I am not there... I do not sleep.
I am the thousand winds that blow...
I am the diamond glints on snow...
I am the sunlight on ripened grain...
I am the gentle autumn rain.
When you waken in the morning's hush,
I am the swift uplifting rush
Of gentle birds in circling flight...
I am the soft star that shines at night.
Do not stand at my grave and cry-
I am not there... I did not die...
Betty my sister, my forever friend.

It is so hard to believe you are gone. You were an amazing woman, with the kindest heart I've ever seen. You were always willing to give, and never asked for anything in return. Your laughter, your jokes, your smile , and the way you rolled your eyes :-) will be missed greatly.
I have so many wonderful memories of you starting at Rosebud. You were always there for a cuddle, even when I was older, you knew when I needed a hug. Thank you for everything.
The loss and pain I feel are nothing compared to the void in my life that would have been if I never knew you. So, I embrace the pain, because it defines how much you loved and were loved.
You will be with me always. I love you. Thank you for everything.

I will always cherish the memories I have with my godmother, Auntie Betty, since childhood, especially the ones on Rosebud Lane! Even though the miles separate us, she was there in our time of despair. Her smile, her wit, and stories about her past will stay with me forever. Her presence was always such a comfort. My heart goes out to you, Raymond for I share your pain first hand. It is not easy saying good bye to our parents but God has bigger things in store for them. Her purpose is now complete but she will join my dad, Des, to watch us from above. You are in my thoughts constantly and I wish I were there to celebrate her life. Love you lots, Auntie Betty. You will sadly be missed by so many.

I can't believe you are gone so soon. I will never forget the stories you told, and the gift you have to make everyone around you smile and laugh. You will always be in my thoughts and prayers. I love you and will miss you terribly. Thank you for being the person you were. I will never forget you. "May the road rise to meet you, may the wind be always at your back, may the sun shine warm upon your face, and the rain fall soft upon your fields, and until we meet again, May God hold you in the hollow of his hand." Rest in peace Aunt Betty.

To the family,
So sorry to hear about Elizabeth. I did not work directly with her; at Albany Medical but came in on the next shift. She was a sweet lady.

To the Whelan/Ranellucci Family: Liz waited on my family many of many Saturdays and Sundays, always with a bright smile, laughter and sharp wit. She was never to busy to ask how the family was, how you were doing. Liz was a joy to know and to see. I had the chance to meet her at AMCH several times when my mom was ill and she was smiley and just as witty as ever. Liz will surely be missed. My deepest condolences to all and I will keep you in my prayers.

Over the past 11 years, I've had to go Albany Med too many times to count for my own parents and relatives. The place can be a bit overwhelming. I remember your mother, her kindness, her smile and her brogue. My grandmother was from Ireland. Somehow your mother and her voice would put me at ease and give me strength to go face whatever was going on.
Over the years, I'd ask directions even if I knew where I was going just to talk to her and get courage.
I am truly sorry for your loss.

My Sister's Special Place
There's a special place within her heart, where the deer run free and wild.
There's a little brook where a sweet breeze blows, down by the country side.
There's a little house beyond the wall, covered by ivy green.
There's a weeping willow up on the hill, where the wee birds nestle and sing.
There's a little church with no steeple, where people gather to pray.
There's a secret place where lovers meet, to watch the sun fade away.
That special place within her heart,
is across the deep blue sea.
As always promised she will return,
