Wait on the Lord; Be of good courage, And He shall strengthen your heart; Wait, I say, on the Lord!
Psalm 27:14

Waiting seems easy enough, but in the midst of a crisis the hours pass like days, and days like months. We do not seem to know which way to go or what to do. We feel like running away or rushing to make our next move. Our desire to resolve our troubles on our own proves only to set us back further. We cannot imagine that God wants us to wait.

While God understands our desperate pleadings, He desires that we continue to place our confidence and trust in Him, regardless of how long the wait; trusting that we are moving forward to new things that He desires for us.

On behalf of Callie Moore and Family, it is with both saddness and joy, that we extend to you, the Smith Family, our love and condolence in this your time of great loss. We wish we could be there with you all. We join you in celebrating her life, rejoicing in knowing that we will see our loved ones again. Trust in the Lord, He will guide your paths.

To the WMCL Family,
This is truly a sad time for our family to lose The Rock of our family. Annie did no much for our family, she always pride herself on the family reunions making sure we all had fun and got to spend time with each other. It was truly a blessing to see her at this past one and we was able to hug her and kiss her for the last time. I am so missing her right now as is everyone else. I know she is with God now and enjoying everlasting peace. We all have to stick together and keep the family reunion going in her honor. I love you all and send my special love out to sheila, jonathan and all her grands and great grands, brothers and sisters. Rest in Peace Cousin Anna.

To The Family,

I met Mrs. Annie Many Many years ago while on my paper route on 2nd Street. When she open the door the first thing I remembered was her telling me to have the evening paper at the house on time and I would be rewarded a piece of her fantastic Cake in which one slice always looked to me to be the whole cake.

I started attending church regularly at the Temple and when she found out i was Abbie Lee's son her and her sisters Ernestine and Madie along with Mother Conway immediately made me get in the kitchen and in the Kitchen of the church is where she became a friend a confidont and yes another mother figure to me. She would tell me we are family no matter what!!!

I will not ever forget her kind smile, her words of encouragement, her robust laughter and the many many story of her family.

Im certain Brenda and Jahla is Happy to see her come home.

Take my prayers of comfort in the memory of Lady Anne she was truly a regal woman of GOD.

To the Smith Family,
Mother Smith was truly a great women of God, she set great examples for the young women in church. She also gave a few pointers on how to throw down in the kitchen; Look to God during this time, he will give you the strength needed to make it without her. It is going to be rough at times because the Matriarch of the family is no longer physically here, but always know she will be watching over you.

Aunt Annie, was a woman of strength, courage and a force to be recogned with. When she spoke, you listened, for her voice spoke volumes. She was our family matriarch. She was always there when you needed her, in good times, in bad times and in sad times. Aunt Annie, you will truly, truly be missed, but you rest now, for you have served your family well. We are grateful to have had you in our lives and we are thankful for all that you have done for the families throughout the years. May heaven smile upon you as you enter the gates and may God say servant well done.
