McCormack, Mary COHOES Mary Whalen McCormack, 68, of Cohoes at Van Rensselaer Manor, Troy on Saturday, August 23, 2008 after a long illness. She was born and educated in Cohoes and was the daughter of the late William F. and Fabiola Lennville Whalen Sr. She was a communicant of St. Joseph's Church and a member of the Ladies of St. Anne Society. She was a member of the Cohoes Columbiettes and was active in several charities. She retired as an aid for the Cohoes School District. Wife of the late Robert J. McCormack Jr. She is survived by her sons, Robert (Jacqueline) McCormack and Daniel McCormack, both of Cohoes, and Kevin McCormack of Lansingburgh; cherished grandmother of Caitlin and Megan McCormack of Cohoes; sister of the late Lorraine Desautels, William Whalen Jr., James Whalen, Sr., Beulah Dame and Joan Donohue; also survived by several nieces and nephews. Funeral Tuesday 8:30 a.m. from the Dufresne Funeral Home, Inc., 216 Columbia Street, Cohoes and 9:00 a.m. at St. Joseph's Church, where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated. Interment in Gerald B.H. Solomon Saratoga National Cemetery, Schuylerville.
