Anton Suhrada Obituary

Suhrada, Anton J. ROTTERDAM Anton J. Suhrada, 81, passed away September 24, 2008 after a short illness. Tony was born November 30, 1926 in Long Island City, N.Y. to Anton E. and Hilda Suhrada. He retired from the Watervliet Arsenal after 37 years of service. He is survived by his former wife, Mary L. Fahy and his sons, Paul Suhrada (Kathy), Tony and Joe (Joanne) Suhrada. He was predeceased by his daughter, Sharon. Calling hours 4-8 p.m. Sunday at the DeMarco-Stone Funeral Home, 1605 Helderberg Avenue, Rotterdam. Funeral services will be held from the funeral home at 8 a.m. Monday, thence to Saint Gabriel's Church, Hamburg Street at 9 a.m. Interment, Saint John's Cemetery, Schenectady with military honors. Contributions to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society, PO Box 4261, Pittsfield, MA 01202. Arrangements, R.J. DeLuccia Funeral Service, 1605 Helderberg Avenue, Schenectady, N.Y.; 355-5770.
