James Reepmeyer Obituary

Reepmeyer, James M. COLONIE, N.Y. James M. Reepmeyer, 94, of Fonda Road, passed away peacefully at home on October 17, 2008. He was born on April 1, 1914 in Colonie, the son of the late William and Clara Osterhout Reepmeyer. James lived in Colonie all his life and was co-owner of William Reepmeyer & Son's along with his brother and best friend, Henry. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his wife and brothers, Catherine Landor Reep-meyer who died in 1990 and Henry and Dana Reepmeyer. Survivors include his daughters, Patricia (Bob) Kahre and her children Jimmy and Sherri, Cheryl Cinney and her children Dawn (Tom) Meyers and Candice Cinney; his son, Mark ( Mary Lou) Swatling and his children Mark (Yvonne) Swatling of Mich., Jeannie Galluzzo of Colonie and Nicole (Steve) Mc Breairty of Fla. James is also survived by several nieces and nephews, especially, Paul (Susan) Reepmeyer and four great-grand-children. Funeral services will be held on Monday, October 27, 2008 at 2:00 p.m. at the Gordon C. Emerick Funeral Home, 1550 Route 9, Clifton Park. A calling hour will precede the service beginning at 1:00 p.m. Burial will be in Memory's Garden Cemetery, Colonie.
