It's hard to believe you've been gone this long. You have been sorely missed. I have many memories of our childhood vacations together, family reunions and our 'pen pal' letters in our early years and then our emails replaced snail mail. I remember as teens spending all day long in the movie theatre near you on our summer visits and much more. I hope you and Ed are dancing together in heaven. Crazy times here these days...wish you were here to chat about them. Lotsa Love, Your cousin Sissy

Kathy,
I was four and you were three
Here you are hugging me
We joked and laughed and
Played make believe
As Cowboys and Indians
As Sheriffs and Thieves
You ate the detergent
The Doctor came quick
He pumped your stomach
You were real sick
We played hide and seek
You hind the couch
You fell through the floor
Owwwwwwwcccchhh!
So many memories
So many years
So now you're gone
So many tears
It isn't right
That you left before me
Because I am four......
And you're only three
I love you Kathy.....I will miss you forever and forever.

Shannon and Mandy and all of Kathy's family, I will always remember the fun your mom and your Uncle Jon and my brother and me had spending time together in the summers when we were teens. We'd spend a week in Albany with them and they'd spend a week with us in Pleasant Valley. She and I were great "pen pals" during our childhood too. She was so much fun and a happy happy girl and woman. She missed your Dad so much and they are together again which is of some comfort to everyone's broken hearts.

Love from Kathy's 1-2-3rd cousin,

Kathy worked with my son Matty at Wildwood School many years ago. She was so wonderful and patient with him. She cared about Wildwoods students so much and her kind sweet nature will be missed forever. My thoughts and prayers go out to Kathy's family.

Hi Mandi and Sierra,

I am so sorry for your loss. I only met your mom/grandmom a handful of times, but she was always a very sweet lady. And I know she must've been special to have raised such an amazing daughter. Sierra--I understand you lost both grandmothers this week, so I don't know how you must be feeling. I'm sending all my positive energy your way, and if either of you need more than that, please please don't hesitate to call. Stay strong!

I was really shocked to hear the news of Kathys passing. I worked with Kathy at Wildwood and she always made each day fun. If we were having a rough day she always had a joke to tell or prank to play to make us all smile. She was always willing to help anyone in need. She really was a wonderful person and will be greatly missed. My thoughts and prayers are with you.

Mandi, Shannon and Sierra Rose,
I am at loss for all of us who shared in Kathy's life. I sit here with tears and a heavy heart.
She and I were friends for over 50 years and more than friends - sisters. We shared many conversations, secrets, concerns and laughs.
The last two years were tough on her and I was looking forward to her getting better and doing some of the things we talked about.
It was way too early for her to leave us but I know she missed Ed.

Dear Shannon, Mandi and Sierra
Your Mom and Grandmother was my oldest friend having know each other for over 50 years. It was always amazing when we talked that it was like yesterday - the words just flew along with the time apart. Good friends are precious and I can't begin to tell you how precious Kathy was. My prayers are with you all.

I was extremely sad to hear about your mom. With the loss of both your parents, the same as myself, I really understand the hurt you are all feeling. We think of you all constantly and want you to know how much she'll always be missed.

Stay strong and stick together,
Love,
Marie, Wayne and Capri

To Mandi, Shannon and Sierra Rose,
I worked with your mom for many years. She was such a fun loving and tender soul. Her dedication to her students was so apparent in all the work that she did and the gains that they made. She was a lover of music and just so much darn fun. I will truly miss her smile.

I worked with Kathy over the years in different rooms at Wildwood School. She was such a delight to work with, we were always playing pranks on each other and the other staff in the room. She always brought smiles to everyone at school on all the holidays with her different holiday outfits. She loved reading and working with the students through out her many years at Wildwood. You will always be missed Kathy and thought of every day.

April 15, 2010

I enjoyed working with Kathy at Wildwood School. She was always pleasant and her love of special occasions was reflected in her many festive outfits, particularly the headgear!
With thoughts and prayers,
