George Pinheiro Obituary

Pinheiro, George G. BALLSTON LAKE George G. Pinheiro, 81, died at his home on September 25, 2007 surrounded by family members and friends after 14 months of dedicated and compassionate care through Community Hospice of Saratoga. George was the only child of Manual and Pauline Pinheiro of Bristol, R.I. George is survived by his wife Claire Keough Pinheiro; two daughters, Pamela Margraf and Deborah Torres. Four grandchildren and three great-grandchildren also survive him George was a veteran of World War II, and attended the University of Rhode Island, earning a bachelor of science degree in marketing and advertising in 1951. Throughout his life, he was an avid hunter, golfer and private pilot. Calling hours Sunday, September 30, 4-6 p.m. at the Townley & Wheeler Funeral Home, 21 Midline Rd. (Rt. 146A), Ballston Lake. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Monday at 9:00 a.m. at Corpus Christi Church, Route 9, Round Lake, N.Y. Military burial will follow in the Saratoga National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Community Hospice of Saratoga, 179 Lawrence Street, Saratoga Springs, NY 12866 or Corpus Christi Church, P.O. Box 628, Round Lake, NY 12151.
