William Confrey Obituary

Confrey, William T. ALBANY William T. Confrey, 82, died suddenly October 12, 2007 at home. Born in Albany, Mr. Confrey was a lifelong resident. He was a graduate of Middleburg College and was employed by the government as an expediter for the U.S. Postal Service. William was a member of the VFW and Wigand Post #8444, did extensive genealogy work in Ireland and loved the game of golf. Bill was predeceased by his sister, Mary and his brother, Christopher. He is survived by his nieces, Melissa Gregoire, Christy Wessler and Sharon Davis; sister-in-law, Doris Confrey; and brother-in-law Harold Parks. Funeral services will be held Tuesday morning 10:30 at Blessed Sacrament Church. Relatives and friends are invited. There will be no calling hours at the funeral home. Interment will be private as well.

Hi my name is eamon masterson and I used to caddy ,for bill when he came to Ireland to play golf I have lovely memories of him , and pictures, I always wondered how my friend was , but could get no contact but thanks to ai I have found him and I know he has passed , if someone could contact me I would love to know where my friend was layed to rest
