I knew Pat when we were both in the steno pool at the Public Service Commission. After I left the PSC to marry and start a family, Pat succeeded me in my job as secretary to the Chief Hearing Examiner. Pat was friendly, always smiling, a great and efficient worker and one you could count on. I was saddened to hear of her sudden and much too early passing. Connie Boschwitz

It was with great sadness and loss when I heard of Pat's death. I could always count on her to give me a smile and offer genuine friendship. She was a quiet lady, but her presence will be greatly missed at DOT.

Pat will be missed by the many people of NYSDOT who had the pleasure of working with her. She set an example of dedication and good will that was honored when she was with us and that will long be remembered. Our thoughts are with her family.

As a member of Pat's Church, we are truly shocked and greatly saddened by her abrupt passing. She will be remembered for her pleasant smile, her cheerful greeting, her wonderful choir voice, and faith.. My sincere sympathy to the immediate family and her family at NYSDOT.

To say that Pat's death was a surprise would be an understatement. Pat was a consumate profesional. Although a very private person by nature, Pat always had a warm smile and a friendly word as you passed by her desk. I can remember many a morning walking up six flights of stairs with Pat. As we neared the sixth floor and I was ready to pass out and she was bearly breathing heavily, Pat would always ask me "Are you okay?" We will take comfort in the fact that she is now in God's loving embrace.

Pat's sudden death has been a shock to her friends and colleagues at the New York State Department of Transportation, where she worked for so many years. One of DOT's most senior employees, she served as secretary to six different Chief Administrative Law Judges of the agency. She was known as a very private person, but was also respected for her genuine warmth and professionalism. Pat's death, which was so totally unexpected, has brought us feelings of great sadness, and we will miss her smiling presence and charm. Pat served as my secretary and assistant for thirteen years, and I have known her for close to thirty. Going to work will never be quite the same again. My deep sympathy to Pat's two brothers especially.
