To the entire Moore family: I'm so sorry to hear of your loss of Hugh & I also just learned of the loss of your mom. I was a neighbor who was babysat by Laura, but when I was in Kindergarten, Hugh was a High Schooler who would watch out for me on the school bus! Lots of memories with this family, friends with Jessant when he stayed for a while, memories of Laura's horse escaping & eating the apples in our front yard & as I got older going to feed the family cats when Mr. & Mrs. Moore were out of town.

I'm so very sorry for all of you!

To all the Family:
I just learned of Hugh's passing, and I am so sorry to hear about it.

Hugh was a good friend and neighbor growing up in East Berne, and I remember how he helped us out when - as young children - my sister and I discovered our dog had been badly injured.

Then-teenage Hugh calmed us down and provided compassion and comfort to two frightened children. That is my most vivid memory of Hugh (although the time he "punk'd" us and and our babysitter with a prank was close behind!).

God bless you all, and you have my thoughts and prayers.

To Lance and family, I am sorry to see what a dreadful and sad loss you have sustained. The world is less bright for losing your brother.
