Laura Bernard Obituary

Bernard, Laura L. NASSAU Laura L. Bernard, 50, of Nassau, born August 31, 1957 in Rhinebeck, N.Y., died October 25, 2007 at the Hospice Inn at St. Peter's, after an eight-year fight with cancer. Laura was a hairdresser in the Albany area for many years. She was a volunteer with the board of elections and a member of the Roosevelt Fire Department ladies auxiliary in Hyde Park. Survived by her parents, David and Beverly Mewton Bernard of Clifton Park; two sons, James Allen Camburn of East Greenbush and Steven Christopher (Chris-tina) Camburn of Ravena; one sister, Kelly (Keith) Canary of Gloversville; two brothers, Jeffrey (Leah) Bernard of Hyde Park and Daryl (Ruth) Bernard of Md.; two grandchildren, Steven and Emily Rose. Calling hours are Monday 5-7 p.m. in the Catricala Funeral Home, Inc., 1597 Rte. 9, Clifton Park with a service at 7 p.m. Monday. Burial will be private in Jonesville Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Peter's Hospice.
