Robert Foster Obituary

Foster, Robert F. ALBANY Robert Francis Foster Sr. passed away on Sunday, October 28, 2007 at St. Peter's Hospital, Albany. He was 77. Robert was born in Albany on January 14, 1930, the son of the late Edward Foster and Sophia Betz Foster. He served in Korea with the U.S. Army. Robert was employed for over 33 years with the New York State Department of Labor. Robert is survived by his loving wife of 52 years, Lucille St. Onge Foster; his sons, Timothy Foster of Albany, William Foster and his wife Gina Vichiconti of Albany; daughter-in-law Donna Foster; grandchildren, Tara, Nicole, Elaina and Sophia Foster; and great-grandchildren Courtney and Carson. He was predeceased by his son Robert F. Foster Jr. and brother Edward Foster. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Wednesday, October 31 at 9:00 a.m. at St. Margaret Mary Church, 1168 Western Ave., Albany. Relatives and friends are invited to call at the Hans Funeral Home, 1088 Western Ave., Albany on Tuesday, October 30 from 5-7 p.m. Interment will be in the Gerald B. H. Solomon Saratoga National Cemetery in Schuylerville, Wednesday at 11:30 a.m.
