Mary Reinhardt

Reinhardt, Mary C. SARATOGA SPRINGS Mary C. (Alund) Reinhardt, formerly of Gridley Ave., passed away Sunday, November 11, 2007, at Wesley Health Care Center. She was 94. Born on January 30, 1913 in Albany, N.Y., she was a daughter of the late Edward and Catherine (Lawler) Alund. She worked most of her life as a waitress and served at various restaurants, including the Spa City Diner, Gideon Putnam, Max and Henry's Deli on State Street in Albany and at the State Capital's restaurant. She retired from the food service department at Saratoga Hospital in the 1980s. She is predeceased by 15 brothers and sisters and her late husband, Joseph Reinhardt, who died on January 31, 1959. Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law, Joseph J. and Jackie Reinhardt of Gansevoort; two grandchildren, Joanna (Brian) Crowley of Saratoga Springs and Joseph Reinhardt and his fiancee Angela Waller of South Glens Falls, N.Y.; three great-grandchildren, Nathan Waller, Jenna Reinhardt and Olivia Crowley; one sister, Joan Lather of Calif.; and many nieces, nephews and cousins. Relatives and friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the William J. Burke & Sons/Bussing & Cunniff Funeral Homes, 628 North Broadway (584-5373). Funeral services will be conducted at 7 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home. Burial will be in St. Agnes Cemetery, Menands, N.Y.
