Shirley Selby Obituary

Selby, Shirley M. ESTERO, Fla. Shirley M. Selby of Estero, passed away November 17, 2007. She was the beloved wife of Robert "Bob" N. Selby. Shirley was born and educated in Troy, daughter of the late Frank and Ann Duffney. She had retired as supervisor from the New York State Department of Motor Vehicles and previously worked for Montgomery Ward's. Moving to the local area of Fla. in 1992, Shirley resided in Country Creek where she was a member of the Ladies Golf League and a communicant of Our Lady of Light Catholic Church in Estero. In addition to Bob, her loving husband of 53 years, she is survived by her devoted children, Deborah (Joe) Sheehan, Karen (Ed) Snay, Steven (Sandy) Selby, Bryan (Joan) Selby, Matt (Candice) Selby; 10 Grandchildren, six great-grandchildren; four sisters and one brother. Family and friends are invited, Saturday, December 1, 2007 from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon at the Bowen Funeral Home, 97 Old Loudon Road, Latham, to celebrate Shirley's life. Interment of cremains will follow in Elmwood Hill Cemetery, Troy. In Shirley's memory, contributions may be made to Hope Hospice, 9470 Health Park Circle, Ft. Myers, FL 33908.

Bob & Family just recently learned of Joan's passing,very sorry for your loss.I'am staying in an assisted living home now,which the boy's insisted on.
Just recently celebrated my 93 Birthday with all the aches and pains.
