Mary Anderson Obituary

Anderson, Mary J. ALBANY Mary J. Anderson, 83, died Saturday, November 24, 2007 at Village Manor Health Care Center in Plainfield, Conn. Born in Syracuse, she was the daughter of the late William H. and Eva Mullen Foley. Mary retired from the New York State Public Service Commission where she was a head audit clerk. She was a communicant of St. Pius X Church, Loudonville. Mary was predeceased by her husband, Robert P. Anderson, in 2000. She was the dear mother of Brent W. Anderson (Charlotte) of Edgewood, N.M., Kevin F. Anderson (Jane) of Dayville, Conn., Deborah A. Guiley (Thomas) of Loudonville, Mark K. Anderson (Kathy) of Guilderland, Denise A. Fusselman (John) of Orlando, Fla. and the late Robert P. Anderson Jr., her infant son who died in 1955; sister of Donna Johnson of Syracuse and the late Patricia Barr, Joanne Borzych and William Foley; sister-in-law of Patricia Foley of North Syracuse and Frank Anderson of Sabael, N.Y.; 12 grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews survive Mary. Funeral services Friday at 10:00 a.m. from the McVeigh Funeral Home, 208 North Allen Street, Albany thence to St. Pius X Church, Loudonville at 10:30 a.m. where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated. Relatives and friends are invited and may call Thursday, 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. in the funeral home. Interment will follow the Mass in Most Holy Redeemer Cemetery, Niskayuna. Those wishing to remember Mary Anderson in a special way may send a contribution to the Disabled American Veterans, P.O. Box 14301, Cincinnati, OH 45250.
