Arthur F. Pasquini

Pasquini, Arthur F. MECHANICVILLE Arthur F. Pasquini, 86, of River Rd., Mechanic-ville, died suddenly Thursday, November 29, 2007 at his residence. Born in Union City, N.J., November 10, 1921 son of Daniel and Catherine Pasquini. Husband of Vivian J. Arrigo whom he married November 16, 1952. Mr. Pasquini was a veteran of the U.S. Army having served from 1942 - 1946 attaining the rank of T/Sgt. He was very proud of his having served in the Pacific Theater of Operations and served in Okinawa. He was a factory foreman for Virginia Dare of Brooklyn, N.Y. importers of spices and extracts. One of his favorite past times was to sing, especially opera and Broadway show tunes. He was also very fond of cooking and enjoyed cooking for his family gatherings. Survivors in addition to his wife Vivian include, one daughter Katherine (Andrew) Jetter of Clifton Park; two grandchildren Jonathan and David Jetter. Predeceased by his son Daniel who died in 2003. Also predeceased by two brothers, Mario and Tommy; and three sisters, Frances, Angela and Olga. A graveside service with full Military Honors will be held Wednesday, December 5 at 1:00 p.m. at the Gerald B. H. Solomon Saratoga National Cemetery with the Reverend William Turnbull, officiating.
