Dollie Hines Obituary

Hines, Dollie Mae ALBANY Dollie Mae Hines, 87, departed this life December 2, 2007 at Memorial Hospital. She was born July 25, 1920 in Halifax County, Va. She was the daughter of the late Willie Shep Chandler and Martha Hughes and wife of the late Roosevelt Hines. Sister of Pearl Woods (Robert) of Colonie, N.Y., Lucy Gallimore of Halifax, Va., Georgia Owens of Richmond, Va., Ella Dunkley of Delmar, N.Y. and Bryant Dunkley of South Boston, Va.; one devoted brother-in-law, Robert Woods of Colonie; four sisters-in-law, Edna Chandler of Altamont, N.Y., Copelia Chandler of Halifax, Va., Catherine Chandler of Murphy Grove, Va. and Janice Mae Dunkley of South Boston, Va.; and a host of nieces, nephews and cousins. A devoted niece, Lola C. Howerton of Danville, Va. A special thanks to Daughter's of Sarah Nursing Center Gold Section entire staff and Garland Funeral Home entire staff. Funeral service Thursday, 11:00 a.m. at the Garland Bros. Funeral Home, 75 Clinton Ave. Viewing 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. prior to the service. Interment, Evergreen Memorial Park.
