To Gallant Family,
I just started riding the #4 Bus in November, Steve was the first bus driver I met. He was a nice a patient man, by teaching me how to swipe the various swiper cards the right way. I feel saddened that I will not get to know him and the unfairness at his sudden passing. I want to extend how sorry I am and your family will be in our thoughts and prayers.

Dear Sidney: I was so shocked when I read of Steve's passing. We spent a great deal of time together in 67 when he bought his Chevy II and I the Chevelle. We also had great times working on his 61 Impala. No matter how far we live apart true friends are still very close if just in thought. We had too many great times together to mention and I will miss him dearly. My prayers will be with you and your grandkids. He is now with his mom and they are in paradise.
