Rachel Friedberg Obituary

Friedberg, Rachel CINCINNATI, Ohio Rachel Friedberg of Cedar Village, Cincinnati, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on Friday, December 7, 2007. After surviving the holocaust, Rachel and her husband Herman moved to the United States where they raised their four children and began their new life. Rachel was the wife of the late Herman Friedberg and is survived by her children, Nancie (Ken) Segel, Bernice Friedberg, Dorothy Friedberg and Leon (Corey) Friedberg; and her grandchildren, Julie and Amie Segel and Aaron and Sarah Friedberg. Funeral services were held in Cincinnati. The period of mourning will be observed at the home of Nancie and Ken Segel, One Oak Ridge, Menands on Wednesday and Thursday from 7-9 p.m. Memorial contributions in memory of Rachel can be made to the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum, P.O. Box 90988, Washington DC 20090-0988.
