Angelina Gully Obituary

Gully, Angelina TROY Angelina "Angie" Gully, 92, of Troy, passed away into eternal life Tuesday morning, December 11, 2007 at Van Rensselaer Manor surrounded by her loving and devoted family. Born in Albany, Angelina was the daughter of the late John and Laura Colello and wife of the late Peter F. Gully. Angie had worked for the former Ball and Giles Shirt Co. of Troy. She was a member of the Shirt Workers Union of America. She was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary of the Watervliet Elks Lodge 1500. She was also very involved with the LaSalle Institute Women's Auxiliary from the years 1954 - 1961. Angelina had been very involved with St. Joseph's Church in Troy. She was a communicant of St. Jude the Apostle Church in Wynantskill. She was a wonderful mother and grandmother and loved to cook for her family. Angelina is survived by her two sons John V. Gully and his wife Carole of East Greenbush and Nicholas D. Gulli and his wife Linda of Wynantskill. She is also survived by her brothers Dominick Colello of Albany and Harry Colello of Thailand and a sister Nellie DeCarlo of Brighton Beach, N.Y. and was predeceased by her sister, Mary Colello. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Nicholas (Tammy) Gully, Leslie (Russell) Armstrong, John N. (Sherrie) Gully, Nicole Marie (Stephen) McQuade and Denise (Keith) Bonaface and her great-grandchildren, Riley Nicole and Bailey Kathleen McQuade and Zarela Gully; and several nieces and nephews. The funeral for Angelina will be held Friday morning at 8:45 from the Bocketti Funeral Home, 336 Third St., Troy and at 9:30 at St. Jude the Apostle Church in Wynantskill where a Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated. Relatives and friends are invited to attend and may call at the funeral home Thursday from 4-8 p.m. Interment, St. Mary's Cemetery, Troy. Contributions in Angelina's memory to St. Jude the Apostle Church in Wynantskill would be appreciated.
